Fire Protection Design
A good and adequate fire protection system installation starts with a good fire protection engineering design.
Plan Review AMINTREC designs sprinkler fire protection systems using AutoSPRINK VR, a MEPCAD program.

AMINTREC also provides fire protection analysis of existing ceiling sprinkler systems to determine the adequacy and available design capacity of the fire protection systems. This is done by conducting field measurements at the plant and generating a lay out of the sprinkler system. The finished lay out is then run in the fire protection software for a hydraulic analysis.

Designs include:
  • Hose stations and exterior hydrants
  • Automatic fire protection sprinkler design using standard, extra large orifice and large drop
  • sprinklers
  • Automatic fire protection design using Early Suppression Fast Response (ESFR) sprinkler
  • heads. Suppression and control mode.
  • Water-foam sprinkler systems
  • Water spray systems
  • Dry, deluge sprinkler systems
  • Special sprinkler protection systems (cooling towers, electrical transformers, pressurized
  • vessels, etc.)
  • Rack storage protection
  • Rack storage protection higher than 25-ft.
  • Automatic sprinkler protection for flammable liquids storage and operation areas
  • Automatic sprinkler protection for other commodities ( idle pallets, tire storage, carpet
  • storage, foam storage, etc.)
  • Seismic bracing for fire protection systems (per FM 2-8 and NFPA 13)
